Brooklyn robbery crew armed with machete and guns terrorizing victims in late-night heists

BROOKLYN, NY – A violent robbery crew is on the loose in Brooklyn after a string of late-night stickups involving guns, a machete, and a dark-colored Infiniti with South Carolina plates.

Police say the same group struck at least three times in mid-October, targeting victims across the 62nd and 72nd Precincts.

In each case, the robbers used intimidation and weapons to take cash and personal items before fleeing in a 2011 Infiniti sedan bearing the license plate “LFC5920.”

Armed robbery at Fifth Avenue location

The first incident occurred around 2:05 a.m. on October 11 at 675 Fifth Avenue, where four unidentified individuals confronted two women, ages 31 and 22. Two suspects displayed firearms while another wielded a machete, demanding cash. The victims handed over roughly $1,000 before the group fled in the Infiniti. No injuries were reported.

Attempted robbery on 70th Street

Nine days later, on October 20 at approximately 8:30 p.m., three suspects targeted a 46-year-old woman at 1521 70th Street. The group tried to grab her cellphone and shattered a glass vestibule door attempting to enter the building. Their efforts failed, and they escaped in the same Infiniti, heading west on 70th Street. No one was hurt.

Victim attacked and robbed on 52nd Avenue

Minutes later that night, around 8:49 p.m., a 35-year-old man was assaulted at 462 52nd Avenue. One suspect brandished a machete while others punched the victim repeatedly, stealing his wallet with $200, credit cards, identification, and an iPhone 13. The suspects again fled in the Infiniti. The victim suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.

Police seek help identifying suspects

Investigators believe the same three male suspects are responsible for the string of robberies. The NYPD released images of the individuals and vehicle connected to the incidents and are urging anyone with information to come forward…
