Repeat Offender with 86 Arrests Pushes Stranger Onto NYC Subway Tracks in Series of Hate Attacks

New York, NY — A 33-year-old man with an alarming record of 86 prior arrests has been accused of launching a terrifying spree of random anti-Asian assaults across Manhattan, ending with a shocking incident where he shoved a stranger onto subway tracks, according to NYPD and law enforcement sources.

Shocking Subway Attack in Manhattan

Authorities identified the suspect as Clive Porter, 33, who allegedly punched a 45-year-old Asian man in the face at the Bowery and Delancey Street subway station around 4 p.m. Wednesday, knocking the victim onto the tracks.

Before fleeing, Porter reportedly shouted a racial slur — “Asian f–k!” — according to witnesses. The victim managed to pull himself back onto the platform and was treated for a swollen eye.

Police arrested Porter less than an hour later near Grand and Forsyth Streets. He has since been charged with assault as a hate crime, harassment, and reckless endangerment, officials said.
