DUNDEE, N.Y. (WROC) — A man from Dundee is left searching for answers after receiving multiple toll bills from New York City which he says were incorrectly issued to him.
Stanley Spears bought his Yamaha motorcycle back in August of this year and says he received the first invoice from “Tolls by Mail” a few days later. Next to the sender address on the envelope was a stamp for the Port Authority of NY/NJ, but according to Spears, he’s never been to the tri-state area.
“I got the first toll bill in the mail and didn’t understand why I was getting it with my license plate on it,” Spears said. “The only place the bike had been the Yamaha dealer.”…
