The NYPD Crime Stoppers has issued a social media appeal for information regarding a robbery that occurred in Manhattan early last month. According to a Facebook post, which has been circulated within the community to generate leads, a suspect entered a commercial establishment with a firearm visible in his waistband. The incident took place at 245 East 115th Street at approximately 6:09 p.m. on October 9.
As stated in the NYPD Crimestoppers’ post, the suspect went behind the counter, confronted a 39-year-old male employee, and took approximately $2,000 from the cash register.
