Local News: Bronx Man Kills Three Family Members Before Taking His Own Life in Tragic Incident

A horrific tragedy unfolded in a Bronx housing project on Wednesday morning, where a 44-year-old man reportedly shot and killed three family members, including his elderly mother, before turning the gun on himself. The incident took place at the Castle Hill Houses around 9:45 a.m., sending shockwaves through the community.

The shooter, identified only as the son of one of the victims, fatally gunned down 75-year-old Theresa Stukes, his daughter, and her boyfriend. Neighbors described Stukes, affectionately known as a “Golden Girl,” as a beloved figure in the community who was always involved in celebrations and supportive of those around her.

“I started crying, because that’s one of the ‘Golden Girls,’” said neighbor Jeanette Martinez. “She was always out doing celebrations, barbecues, supporting people, giving good advice. She was a wonderful person.”
