A Hackensack driver and a Hasbrouck Heights police officer were both hospitalized when the 64-year-old civilian ran a red light and struck the officer’s police vehicle early Tuesday, Nov. 18, authorities said.
The crash happened around 5 a.m., when the Hasbrouck Heights communications center received a radio call from an officer reporting being involved in an accident at the intersection of Franklin and Terrace Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights Lt. John Behr said.
