Detectives and uniformed officers raided a New Rochelle home in the 100 block of Chauncey Ave. around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, where they found three boys — two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old — inside the residence, the New Rochelle Police Department said on Friday, Nov. 21.
According to investigators, the teens were in possession of a loaded handgun that matches the description of the weapon used in two armed robberies under investigation. All three were taken into custody without incident.
Police said the teens were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and processed as adolescent offenders under New York State law. They were arraigned and then released on their own recognizance…
