Innocent bystander shot in Manhattan, group wanted: sources

INWOOD, Manhattan (PIX11) – Police are searching for at least six men after an innocent bystander was shot on a Manhattan sidewalk on Monday, sources told PIX11 News.

Police found the 64-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the buttocks near West 204th Street and Broadway at around 4:18 p.m., according to the NYPD. The innocent bystander was walking on the sidewalk when she was struck, according to police and sources.

She was rushed to a local hospital for her injuries and is expected to recover, authorities said.
