Violent Thanksgiving: 2 women and man attacked in NYC, NYPD says

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Two women and a man were attacked in separate incidents in New York City on Thanksgiving Day, according to the NYPD.

Police said a 26-year-old man was slashed in the abdomen around 6 p.m. on East 37th Street in Brooklyn. The victim refused medical attention, and police are looking for a man who fled the scene, according to authorities.

A 68-year-old woman was then elbowed in her back near 580 5th Ave. in Manhattan around 8:45 p.m., according to authorities. Police said her face was pushed into the façade of a building, cutting open her forehead.

The suspect is described as a man last seen wearing a green jacket, black pants and a black backpack, according to authorities. Police said the woman was taken to a local hospital for her injuries…
