Mayor Adams appears to take steps to block Mamdani’s agenda

New York City Mayor Eric Adams insists he is trying to protect his priorities because he’s still in office for the next 28 days.

“And the mayor is not about abandoning your obligation or responsibility just because there’s someone incoming. I have a job to finish,” Adams said.
