Two attacked by man with machete near NYC subway station: Police

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Two people were attacked by a man with a machete outside of a Bronx subway station Sunday evening, according to police.

Police received a 911 call for a reported assault outside of the West Farms Square-East Tremont Avenue station at around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday.

Two men, 44 and 32, were said to be approached by a man brandishing a machete, according to police.

The 44-year-old had cut wounds to his wrist, and the 32-year-old had wounds on his face as well as having his cellphone stolen, officials said…
