The woman whose testimony helped convict prominent Hasidic school mental health counselor Nechemya Weberman of sexually abusing her over three years as a teenager is urging a Brooklyn judge to reject his latest attempt to cut down his 50-year prison sentence — warning that freeing him early would “embolden” him and endanger others.
In a sharply worded 14-page filing submitted Thursday to Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Matthew D’Emic, an attorney for Rivky Deutsch (née Krausz) blasted Weberman’s push for a reduced sentence as “disingenuous.”
