NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – The number of people in immigration detention at a controversial Brooklyn jail quadrupled in November, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement data.
At the end of November, the average daily population at MDC Brooklyn was 111, of whom the vast majority were not convicted of a crime. Just a month before, it was around 25, ICE data show.
