2 supervisory officers testify in Luigi Mangione’s evidence suppression hearing

Two supervisory officers who were at the Altoona, Pennsylvania, McDonald’s where accused CEO killer Luigi Mangione was apprehended last December testified Thursday that police did not need a warrant to search his backpack.

Luigi Mangione was in court in New York City for the sixth day of a hearing to determine what evidence will, or will not, be used against him when he goes on trial on charges of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a Manhattan sidewalk last year.
