More Paramus Mall Shoplifters Caught By Officers, Chief Says

Quenisha N. Smith, 38, of the Bronx, NY, and Tieneshia Myers, 39, of Englewood, were arrested Monday, Dec. 15 around 6:45 p.m., after officers from the Paramus Police Anti-Crime Unit responded to the mall on reports of shoplifting from Aritzia, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said.

Smith and Myers were seen selecting multiple coats and fleeing the store without payment, Guidetti said. Officer Frank Licari later saw the two women in the parking lot placing shopping bags into a black Mercedes-Benz before re-entering the mall, the chief said.

Just before 9 p.m., Licari and Officer Justin Hugerich approached the suspects as they returned to the vehicle and tried to load additional merchandise, the chief said…
