Numerous vehicles drove recklessly through Secaucus Road and County Avenue in Secaucus, while passengers sat on the exterior of moving cars on Sunday, Aug. 31, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. During the incident, one vehicle struck onlookers after a driver lost partial control, Miller said.
Participants exploded pyrotechnics under a marked Secaucus police vehicle while an officer was inside, Miller said. Police said others jumped onto the hood of the vehicle, causing thousands of dollars in damage, Miller said.
