NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Police have identified the skeletal remains of a woman who was found near the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Brooklyn over the summer.
The woman has been identified as Christina G Purdie, 27, of Brooklyn, authorities announced on Thursday.

A Department of Transportation worker made the gruesome discovery of finding her remains in a trash bag in a grassy area near the Jackie Robinson Parkway back on Aug. 6, officials originally reported. The case was later deemed a homicide on Nov. 4 by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
While trying to identify Purdie, police released photos of the jewelry she was found with as well as a sketch of her tattoo.
