Teen girl molested on Bronx bus as NYPD seeks suspect

BRONX, N.Y. – Police are searching for a man accused of groping a 16-year-old girl on a Bronx MTA bus Wednesday afternoon before fleeing on foot, authorities said.

According to investigators, the incident happened around 2:10 p.m. as the teen rode a BX11 bus near College Avenue and East 170th Street within the 44th Precinct. Police said the suspect approached the girl, grabbed her buttocks and arm, and then quickly exited the bus at East 170th Street and Grand Concourse. The victim was not injured.

The NYPD released images of the suspect and is asking for the public’s help in identifying him. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
