Elderly man punched in unprovoked Brooklyn attack as police search for suspect

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – A 68-year-old man was punched in the face during an unprovoked attack in Brooklyn earlier this month, police said.

The assault happened around 11 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, in front of 315 58th Street, when the victim was approached by an unidentified individual who suddenly struck him in the face before fleeing in an unknown direction, according to investigators.

The victim sustained pain and redness but refused medical attention at the scene. Police have not made any arrests and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect…
