Northeast and mid-Atlantic cities offer everything from iconic New Year’s Eve celebrations to cheaper alternatives away from Times Square, according to a new study.
WalletHub released its 2025 list of Best Cities for New Year’s Eve Celebrations on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The personal finance website ranked 100 of the largest US cities using 26 factors tied to the last night of the year, including nightlife options, fireworks laws, food affordability, hotel prices, safety, and weather forecasts.
