STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Several New York City roads will be closed in the coming week for Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral inauguration ceremony and the annual Times Square New Year’s Eve festivities.
According to 311, a free, public block party will be held near City Hall on New Year’s Day. The event is expected to spill over into several streets surrounding the area, as indicated in a road closures advisory by the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information’s Office.
