Several people rescued from burning apartment building in Brooklyn Heights

A fire at an apartment building in Brooklyn led to several rescues on Monday.

The fire broke out on the third floor of a six-story brownstone at 62 Pierrepont St. between Hicks and Henry streets in Brooklyn Heights just after 3:30 p.m.

NewsCopter 7 was overhead as firefighters worked to rescue three people from the fire escape.

The FDNY says seven people were injured, including five civilians and two firefighters…
