Man dies after falling out window of Uber ride on Belt Parkway: sources

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man died after falling out of the window of his Uber ride on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn on Thursday night, police and sources said.

The passenger was riding in the back seat of a Hyundai Santa Fe going eastbound on the Belt Parkway when he opened the window and exited near the 92nd Street Pedestrian Bridge at around 9:04 p.m., police said. It was unclear why the men fled through the window.

The man, identified as 43-year-old Rami Elsuwi, then hit his head on the guardrail and suffered severe head trauma, according to the NYPD. The Brooklyn resident died at the scene…
