An active member of the military was killed in a crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in New Jersey early Sunday morning, Jan. 11, apparently on his way to a military event, sources with direct knowledge of the incident tell Daily Voice.
The fatal crash occurred around 6:45 a.m., on the northbound side of the highway between Exits 3 and 4 in Alpine, moments after another two-vehicle crash in which one person was hospitalized, sources said. It was unclear whether or not the crashes were related as of press time.
The victim of the fatal crash, who was in a later model Honda sedan heading north, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately released. He was believed to be a Queens resident in his early 20s, Daily Voice has learned…
