The pregnant wife of a Brooklyn man found dead along the Belt Parkway is looking for answers, as police work to determine how he exited a moving vehicle before his death. Police say 43-year-old Rami Elsuwi was found Thursday night near the 92nd Street overpass. They say he somehow exited the rear passenger window of a blue Hyundai Santa Fe, and hit his head on the guardrail. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. His wife, who asked to stay anonymous, told News 12 Elsuwi called her when he left work in Williamsburg just after 6:30 p.m. She says he was riding home with the same driver who drives him almost every day. When Elsuwi did not arrive home in Bay Ridge and did not answer his phone, his wife said she grew worried. She used the Find My iPhone feature, which led her to the side of the Belt Parkway.
