At the luxury building Hudson Harbor in Edgewater, where studio apartment rentals start at $2,700 a month, management is turning to dog DNA testing to track down offenders, CBS News reports.
The waterfront community has partnered with a company called PooPrints, whose motto is “the DNA solution for dog waste.” And yes, it works exactly how it sounds.
According to CBS News, every dog living at Hudson Harbor will be registered using a cheek swab, with each pet’s DNA kept on file. PooPrints says it provides the DNA kits and materials needed to notify pet owners and get the program started…
