LYCOMING CO. (WOLF) — A 19-year-old New York man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday night in Lycoming County, according to the county coroner’s office.
Coroner Charles Kiessling Jr. said the crash happened in the 20000 block of Route 287 on January 16. Investigators determined the driver, identified as Quinn Dowdell of Floral Park, New York, was traveling south when the vehicle left the roadway.
Dowdell was not wearing a seat belt and became trapped inside the vehicle, suffering severe traumatic injuries, the coroner said. He was reportedly returning from Ski Sawmill and heading toward Williamsport at the time of the crash…
