NYPD officer mistaken for ICE agent, turned away from hospital: union

COBBLE HILL, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A New York City hospital is pushing back on claims it refused to treat an NYPD officer because employees feared they were an ICE agent.

The alleged incident happened at NYU Langone in Cobble Hill.

In a statement to PIX11 News, the NYPD said, “The members of the NYPD put their lives on the line to protect this city, and the very least they deserve in return is attentive medical care and to be treated with respect.”
