Woman attacked in Bronx store robbery as suspect flees with stolen goods
BRONX, NY – A violent robbery rocked a Bronx store Tuesday afternoon when an unidentified woman assaulted a 68-year-old shopper after being confronted for shoplifting, before fleeing the scene on foot.
The attack happened just before 2 p.m. inside a business located at 986 Southern Boulevard, within the 41st Precinct, when the suspect began stuffing merchandise into her jacket and pants pockets.
