Middletown Man Killed In Bronx Double Shooting, Another Victim Wounded

The shooting happened on Sunday, Jan. 25, when officers responded to a 911 call reporting an assault at around 2:50 a.m. near the intersection of West 242nd Street and Broadway, within the confines of the 50th Precinct, the NYPD told Daily Voice on Thursday, Jan. 29.

When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. A 44-year-old man had been shot in the chest, while a 35-year-old man was shot in the knee, police said.

Emergency medical services transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital. The 44-year-old man, identified as Keon Gill of Middletown, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 35-year-old victim was treated for his injuries and was reported to be in stable condition…
