A woman has been arrested for performing a BBL (or Brazilian butt lift) without the required medical license.
On Friday, Jan. 23, Brooklyn, N.Y., District Attorney Eric Gonzalez shared that 39-year-old Nargiza Shukurova of Uzbekistan was indicted for “recklessly” carrying out the high-risk medical procedure that involves extracting fat from other parts of the body via liposuction and injecting it into the buttocks.
