A veterinarian and a dog were found dead in a mobile veterinary van in New York City last weekend in what the late man’s colleagues are describing as an “unforeseen accident.”
In an email to PEOPLE, the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said officers responded to an emergency call about an unconscious person at 157-18 65 Avenue in Flushing, Queens, on the morning of Sunday, Feb. 1.
“Upon arrival, officers observed a 57-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive and a 73-year-old male unconscious,” the NYPD’s statement said. “EMS responded and pronounced the 57-year-old male deceased on scene.”The 73-year-old male was taken to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition, police added…
