Snow, another blast of arctic air set to hit NYC: Here’s what you should know

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Don’t let the milder conditions in New York City this week fool you, winter’s wrath is far from over.

While the “next few days” may bring conditions preferable to the bitter cold of recent memory, AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Tom Kines said city residents are expected to receive an arctic blast and some snow before the weekend closes out.

Before an arctic air mass moves into the region, Kines foresees “at least a little bit of snow” impacting the city sometime Friday or Friday night…
