NY firefighters tackle blaze in freezing temperatures

LONG ISLAND (PIX11) — North Bellmore fire crews, assisted by mutual aid fire departments in neighboring towns, battled a house fire on Logue Street, which started around 6 pm, according to the Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fire officials tell PIX11 News three people have been displaced. No injuries have been reported. Around 120 firefighters battled the fire in the dangerously cold temperatures.

The office of emergency management had its medical emergency response vehicle at the scene to aid firefighters in the extreme cold.
