One person was removed from a vehicle that overturned in the Norwood section of The Bronx in the early hours of Sunday, Feb. 8, in freezing conditions, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson told Norwood News at 1.15 a.m., police received a 911 call reporting a motor vehicle collision on East Gun Hill Road and Tryon Avenue (in Norwood). “At this time, it’s looking like a one-vehicle accident,” the spokesperson said. “I don’t have the make or model. It appears as though the vehicle overturned somehow.”
The spokesperson continued, “Looks like there was one occupant who was removed.” We asked if the occupant was hospitalized and the spokesperson said based on the report, it didn’t appear so. The spokesperson added that there was no information about the occupant’s condition and said the NYPD press office would have been notified if there had been a fatality or serious injury…
