PALISADES PARK — A Department of Public Works employee has been fired after his arrest for allegedly using a borough gas card to fuel his own personal vehicle on multiple occasions.
Matthew P. Bonaguaro, 24, of Clifton, was charged with theft after an investigation revealed that sometime between March and November 2025, he purchased $2,764 worth of fuel with a borough public works fleet banking card for personal use, without permission.
