Michael Izzo, of Huntington, was pronounced dead at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore on Tuesday, Feb. 10, Suffolk County Police said. Izzo, who was off-duty at the time, had been hospitalized in critical condition since the early morning crash in Greenlawn on Sunday, Feb. 8.
The collision occurred around 3:20 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Little Plains Road in Greenlawn, as Daily Voice reported.
