Ransacked Home, Shattered Door: 3 Arrested In New Milford Break-In, One Caught At Airport

New Milford officers responded to a burglar alarm at a home on Luhmann Drive in New Milford on May 26, 2025, where they found the rear sliding door shattered and the master bedroom had been ransacked, according to Capt. Kevin Van Saders.

Proceeds from the burglary included various jewelry, cash, and liquor bottles, the captain said. The crime scene was processed by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department Bureau of Criminal Identification Unit, and the New Milford Police Department Detective Bureau launched an investigation, authorities said.

Through investigative means and by sharing information with other agencies, three suspects were identified and arrest warrants were signed, charging them with second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, third-degree theft and conspiracy to commit theft, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, police said…
