It’s a first for New York City – a completely free grocery store opened in Manhattan, drawing hundreds of people who lined up around the block to get food.
Prediction market company Polymarket opened the temporary pop-up store that allows shoppers to take home groceries at no cost. No price tags or checkout lines, either. Organizers say the company also donated $1 million to Food Bank for New York City.
