Four people, including an off-duty police officer, have been charged in connection with a violent incident outside a popular Bergen County restaurant, authorities announced Friday, Feb. 13.
Park Ridge police officers responding to a disturbance in progress in front of The Park Steakhouse in Park Ridge, found an adult man on the ground with an apparent head injury on Dec. 6, 2025, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
During the investigation, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office determined that Nicholas K. Dispoto, 31, of Hillsdale and an off-duty Montvale police officer, was involved in the physical altercation that led to the victim’s significant bodily injury, according to Musella.
