Three unleashed dogs with a history of bad behavior attacked eight leashed dogs in an altercation at ShopRite in Hoboken on Wednesday, Feb. 18, authorities said.
At 1 p.m., officers responded to the Shop Rite at 900 Madison Street following the report of the dog attack, a spokesperson for the Hoboken police said. An investigation revealed eight dogs were being walked by two dog walkers, when three unleashed dogs exited a nearby vehicle and launched an unprovoked attack on the leashed dogs, authorities said.
One dog, Frank, a bernedoodle, suffered severe injuries to his neck and leg that required surgery, while both dog walkers sustained sprained wrists while trying to control their leashed dogs, police said…
