Teaneck Cop Won $2.1M, Now He’s Suing The Township Again

A Teaneck police officer who won more than $2.1 million in a whistleblower lawsuit is suing the township again.

Glenn Coley filed a new civil complaint in Bergen County Superior Court on Monday, Feb. 16 (attached at the bottom of this news article), alleging he was retaliated against and suspended without pay just weeks before his first case went to trial, according to the filing.

A jury awarded Coley more than $2.1 million in compensatory and punitive damages on Aug. 7, 2025, after finding in his favor in a Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA) case against the township and several police officials, the complaint states.
