Charges Filed After ShopRite Dog Attack; Six Dogs Seized

Authorities filed charges against a Hoboken resident following a dog attack in the ShopRite parking lot at 900 Madison Street, an incident first reported by Hoboken Girl.

Frank, a Bernedoodle owned by Mike and his fiancée Abby, was under the care of Dogboken walkers at the time of the attack. According to the witnesses, Robert Braxton’s six Cane Corsos were unleashed and unmuzzled when they attacked Frank, in violation of a 2025 court order requiring the dogs to be leashed and muzzled in public.

Mike and Abby credited the Dogboken walkers with intervening during the incident. “They saved Frank’s life,” they said. They stated the walkers “got between Frank and the attacking dogs,” “kicked the dogs to stop the attack,” and “stayed with Frank and waited for us at the emergency vet.”…
