Bronx Gunman Sought After Pumping Rounds Into Apartment Door

Early Friday morning in the Bronx, a quiet residential block near Buhre Avenue and Mahan Avenue turned into a crime scene when someone opened fire on an apartment door, then bolted down the street, according to police.

The incident unfolded inside a residential building within the NYPD’s 45th Precinct area, and authorities say the suspect took off on foot heading eastbound on Buhre Avenue. Officers are now asking the public for help tracking the person down, who is wanted on a reckless endangerment charge.
