Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 26-year-old Cristian Ricardo Vera Castillo of Brooklyn, NY, in connection with the April 23, 2024 robbery at a jewelry store on West Pleasant Avenue in Maywood.
Two male suspects entered the business and brandished firearms, pointing them at an employee and a customer inside the store, Musella said. One of the suspects grabbed the employee and a brief struggle ensued.
