BRONX, NEW YORK — A woman narrowly avoided what could have been a violent encounter early in the morning after she realized a man was trailing her into her apartment building and managed to shut and lock her door just in time.
The incident unfolded at approximately 2 a.m. in the Bronx when the woman was heading inside her residential building. According to reports, she noticed a man walking closely behind her as she entered.
Quick Thinking Prevents Possible Attack
Sensing something was wrong, the woman quickly made her way to her apartment unit. She was able to shut the door on the man and lock it before he could force his way inside.
