Kips Bay Delivery Beating: Manhattan D.A. Indicts Crew In Fatal Attack

Manhattan prosecutors have unsealed an indictment accusing several people of taking part in a violent 2025 beating that left delivery worker Santiago Ajsac Sirin mortally wounded, the district attorney’s office said. The indictment was made public on March 6, 2026 and is the latest step in a months-long probe into a summer assault in Kips Bay. Sirin, who worked on the city’s streets to support a family in Guatemala, was attacked last year and later died from his injuries.
