Veteran New York news anchor dies from pneumonia

Veteran New York television news anchor Ernie Anastos, a familiar presence on local broadcasts for decades, has died at 82.

Anastos died early Thursday at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York, after complications from pneumonia.
