Authorities have arrested and charged a 75-year-old man in connection with the killing of his Guyanese wife, whose remains were discovered months apart in Queens, New York.
Police confirmed that the victim, 34-year-old Salisha Ali, a national of Guyana, had been missing since July 2025. Her husband, Rupchand Simboo, originally from Trinidad and Tobago, was taken into custody on Wednesday after investigators concluded that she had been murdered.
