Man seriously injured in stabbing in N.J. town

A 60-year-old man was seriously injured after he was stabbed in Fairview early Saturday, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

The man was suffering wounds to his face, hands and legs when borough police responded to Grant Street about 1:25 a.m., said Jeff Angermeyer, chief of detectives for the prosecutor’s office.

The man, who was not identified by authorities, was taken to Hackensack Meridian Health’s Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen. He was in serious condition, but is expected to survive, Angermeyer said…
